A generalized function \(g\) from the Colombeau algebra \({\mathcal G}(\Omega)\) is said to be holomorphic if \({\partial f\over\partial\overline z}= 0\) in \({\mathcal G}(\Omega)\). The authors prove that if \(g\) is holomorphic then it admits a representative \((g_\varepsilon)_\varepsilon\) such that \((g_\varepsilon)\) is holomorphic function for \(\varepsilon\in (0,1]\). This theorem is extended to the solutions of a homogeneous elliptic partial differential equation with constant coefficients. Further, it is shown that, if \(g\in{\mathcal G}(\Omega)\) is holomorphic and vanishes on a non-void open subset of \(\Omega\), then \(g\) vanishes on \(\Omega\).
