For part II see the author in J. Comput. Appl. Math. 68, No. 1-2, 15-23 (1996; reviewed above) \textit{G. E. Andrews} makes an instructive comparison between the performances of the WZ method and Pfaff's method on Bailey's theorem, Dougall's theorem, and on a \(_5F_4\) summation. As a conclusion, he critizises the philosophy that the proof of any hypergeometric identity is just a question of computer space and time.
