The authors prove a non-local ``maximum principle for semicontinuous functions'' in the setting of fully nonlinear and degenerate elliptic integro-partial differential equations with integro operators of second order. The results considered complement the existing literature, since the formulation is abstract and general, and only semicontinuous sub and super solutions are utilized.
