The paper deals with real functions of a real variables. Let \(B^*_ 1\) \((D,\;C)\) stand for the class of all \(\text{Baire}^*1\) (Darboux, continuous) functions and let \(DB^*_ 1+DB^*_ 1=\{f+g: f,g\in DB^*_ 1\}\), \(DB^*_ 1\cdot DB^*_ 1=\{fg: f, g\in DB^*_ 1\}\), \(M(DB^*_ 1)=\{f:\) for every \(g\in DB^*_ 1\) the sum \(f+g\in DB^*_ 1\}\), \(P(DB^*_ 1)=\{f:\) for every \(g\in DB^*_ 1\) the product \(fg\in DB^*_ 1\}\). The author characterizes the families \(DB^*_ 1+DB^*_ 1\), \(DB^*_ 1\cdot DB^*_ 1\), \(M(DB^*_ 1)\) and \(P(DB^*_ 1)\). It is shown, e.g., \(DB^*_ 1+DB^*_ 1=B^*_ 1\) and \(M(DB^*_ 1)=C\).
