When the molecules of a fluid are not spherically symmetrical, the stress tensor is not symmetrical, but has an antisymmetric part which contributes to the balance of angular momentum. The aim of this paper is to treat the nonstationary problem of convection when the volumetric force and the momentum density of external forces depend on the temperature. The steady problem had been previously discussed by \textit{G. Lukaszewicz} and \textit{W. Walus} [Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 11, No. 3, 343- 351 (1989; Zbl 0679.76049)]. Due to the difficulties arising from the quadratic nonlinearities in the dissipation function, only strong solutions are considered in this paper, and the local existence of strong solutions is shown via the Banach fixed point argument.
