The authors consider the family of static, spherically symmetric solutions of Einstein's equations, where the matter is given by an electromagnetic field and an additional free massless scalar field. They calculate axial and polar perturbations of the solutions using spin-weighted spherical harmonics. The authors claim to have proven stability against axial perturbations. However, the proof is so sketchy that the reviewer did not understand it.
