    The convergence of simultaneous Hermite-Padé approximants for the \(n\)- tuple of power series \(f_ i(z)= \sum_{k=0}^ \infty C_ k^{(i)} z^ k\), \(i=1,2,\dots, n\) is investigated. The coefficients of \(f_ i\) are given by \(C_ 0^{(i)}=1\), \(C_ k^{(i)}= \prod_{p=0}^{k-1} (A-q^{\alpha_ 1+p})\), \(k\geq 1\). This choice makes the \(f_ i\) be of \(q\)-hypergeometric type. It is shown that, under certain conditions, certain sequences of Hermite-Padé approximants converge in capacity to \(f_ i(z),\dots, f_ n(z)\) inside the common circle of convergence of each \(f_ 1\), \(i=1,\dots, n\).
