The input-output block decoupling by static state feedbacks of generalized continuous-time square state space linear systems is considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established: 1) for block decoupling with simultaneous stabilizability, 2) for block decoupling with simultaneous arbitrary assignment of the system poles. For standard systems \((E= I_n)\) the solvability conditions of the block decoupling are reduced to those of Sato and Lapresti. The presented decoupling method is illustrated by a numerical example.
