The author determines \(SK_ 1(\mathbb{Z}[G])\) for a finite solvable group \(G\) acting freely and linearly on some sphere \(S^{2n-1}\). The results are too complicated to be summarised in a short review, and all are implicit in the encyclopaedic work of R. Oliver on this subject. However, the author achieves some short cuts by a careful examination of the structure of the groups concerned.
