    Let \(f(x)=f(x+2\pi)\in L(-\pi,\pi)\) and let \[ f(x)\sim \frac{a_0}{2}+\sum^{\infty}_1 a_n\cos nx+b_n\sin nx=\sum^\infty_0 A_n(x).\] Let \(H_{\alpha}=\{f\in C_{2\pi}:| f(x)-f(y)| \leq K| x-y|^{\alpha}\},\) for \(0<\alpha \leq 1\). Let \(A=(a_{nk}) (k,n=0,1,\ldots)\) be an infinite matrix of real numbers. Let \(T_n(f)\) denote the \(A\)-transformation of the Fourier series of \(f\): \(T_n(f;x)=\sum^{\infty}_{k=0} a_{n_k}s_k(x)\) \((n=0,1,\ldots)\), where \(s_n(x)\) is the \(n\)-th partial sum of the Fourier series of \(f\). If \(A=(a_{nk})\) is lower-triangular, i.e. \(a_{nk}=0\) for \(k>0\), we write \(t_n(f;x)\) for \(T_n(f;x).\) Theorem 1: Let \(A=(a_{nk})\) be a lower triangular infinite matrix satisfying \[ a_{nk}\geq 0\quad (n,k=0,1,\ldots)\quad\text{and}\quad\sum^n_{k=0}a_{nk}=1, \tag{1} \] \[ a_{nk}\leq a_{n,k+1}\quad k=0,1,\ldots,n-1, \ n=0,1,\ldots). \tag{2} \] Then, for \(0\leq \beta<\alpha \leq 1\) and \(f\in H_{\alpha}\) \[ \| t_n(f)- f\|_\beta = O(a^{\alpha -\beta}_{nn} \log^{\beta - \alpha}(na_{nn}+1)\quad\text{ for }0<\alpha<1 \tag{3}\] and \[ \| t_ n(f)- f\|_\beta= O(a^{1-\beta}_{nn} \{\log^{\beta}(1+na_{nn})+\log^{1-\beta}(\frac{1}{a_{nn}})\})\quad\text{for }\alpha =1. \] There are similar results.
