The quadratic system \[ \begin{aligned} {dx\over dt} &= y+\lambda(-b_{12} x^2 y+ a_{12} xy^2+ a_{03} y^3+ a_{31} x^3 y+ a_{22} x^2 y^2-4b_{04} xy^3+ a_{04} y^4),\\ {dy\over dt} &= -2x^3+ \lambda(b_{21} x^2 y+ b_{12} xy^2+ b_{03} y^3+ b_{40} x^4-{3\over 2} a_{31} x^2 y^2+ b_{13} xy^3+ b_{04} y^4)\end{aligned} \] is considered. It is shown that \(11\) and \(12\) limit cycles can bifurcate from the origin by different perturbations.
