The action of an \(n\)-dimensional torus on a finite \(d\)-valent graph is studied. An equivariant cohomology ring is associated which contains the equivariant cohomology ring of a point as a subring which is given by \({\mathcal S}({\mathcal G}^*)\). A graphical version of standard Morse theoretical techniques is used to analyze the \({\mathcal S}({\mathcal G}^*)\)-module structure of the cohomology ring.
