Interactive method of variational grid generation (Q1823636): Difference between revisions

This note treats an interactive method of grid generation. The elliptic variational grid generation technique is presented. The corrections based on methods of optimal control for distributed systems concern orthogonality and uniformity of the mesh. An earlier variational method has some disadvantages (highly nonlinear resulting differential equation, using difficult techniques). This note proposes a version of variational method which alleviates some of these drawbacks.
