Taylor series on the hyperbolic unit ball (Q1774321): Difference between revisions

Using Clifford analysis the Dirac operator on the hyperbolic unit ball is defined together with monogenic functions on this ball.A related Cauchy formula is given and the Taylor series derived for monogenic functions, using Gegenbauer polynomials. So, a complete foundation of a function theory on the hyperbolic unit ball is developped. This parallels results of P. van Lancker and J. Ryan on the usual sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^m\), here emphasis is laid upon the projective character of the ball.
