The goal of this paper is to present a KAM theory for equilibrium solutions \(1\) dimensional models in statistical mechanics with long range interactions. It is considered a model of the form \[ S(\{x_n\})_{n\in Z}=\sum_{k\in Z}\sum_{L\in N}H_L(x_k,\cdots,x_{k+L}), \] where the configuration of a system is described by \(\{x_i\}_{i\in Z}\). The interactions in the model do not need to be of finite range but they have to decrease sufficiently fast with the distance. It is proved that if there is an approximate solution of the equilibrium equations, which has an internal frequency with Diophantine properties, and which satisfies some non-degeneracy equations, then one can conclude the existence of an exact solution with the same frequency, which is also close to the approximate solution.
