Any quadratic Jordan algebra \(J\), becomes a restricted Lie algebra \(L(J)\) in characteristic 2 by considering squaring and circle product [see \textit{N. Jacobson}, Lectures on quadratic Jordan algebras. Bombay: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. III (1969; Zbl 0253.17013)]. In this paper, the authors determine the complete ideal structure of \(L(J)\) for \(J\) simple finite-dimensional over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 2. A discussion on the smoothness of the authomorphism group of this kind of Jordan algebras, which completes the work of \textit{T. A. Springer} [Jordan algebras and algebraic groups. Berlin-Heidelberg-New York: Springer-Verlag (1973; Zbl 0259.17003)], is also given. The paper ends with some results on derivations of a reduced Albert Algebra in characteristic 2 which lead to a realization of the special isogeny between an isotropic and a split group of type \(F_4\).
