At the beginning of the paper under consideration the authors define the space \({\mathcal E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) of \(\omega\)-ultradifferentiable functions of Roumieu type on \(\Omega\), the space of \(\omega\)-ultradistributions of Roumieu type on \(\Omega\) and study the properties of the linear partial differential operator \(P\) with coefficients belonging to \({\mathcal E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\). More precisely, they prove that if \(P\) and its transposed operator \({^tP}\) are \(\{\omega\}\)-hypoelliptic in \(\Omega\) and map \({\mathcal E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) onto itself, then \(P\) has a global two-sided ultradifferentiable fundamental kernel in \(\Omega\). This way, the authors extend in \({\mathcal E}_{\{\Omega\}}(\Omega)\) a similar result of Malgrange shown in the \(C^\infty\) category in 1955. The main theorem here obtained is new even in the Gevrey classes \(G_s\), \(s> 1\).
