Products of capacities on separate spaces through additive measures (Q2486055): Difference between revisions

In an earlier (unpublished) paper, the author proposed a product for a class of capacities related to additive measures, called increasing capacities w.r.t. additive measures. In this paper the author extends the latter approach to a very general class of not necessarily discrete capacities. The key idea of generalization is to represent general monotonic measures as suprema or infima of increasing capacities. The product is then defined as a minimum or supremum of the corresponding products of increasing capacities.
