    The author deals with the matrix Sturm-Liouville equation \[ -Y''+Q(x)Y=\lambda Y,\qquad 0\leq x\leq 1, \tag{1} \] where \(Q(x)\) is a selfadjoint \(n\times n\)-matrix. Using \textit{N. Levinson}'s method [Mat. Tidsskr. B, 25-30 (1949; Zbl 0045.36402)], the author proves a Borg-type uniqueness theorem on recovering \(Q(x)\) from the given matrices \(C(1,\lambda)\) and \(S(1,\lambda)\), where \(C(x,\lambda)\) and \(S(x,\lambda)\) are solutions to equation (1) under the initial conditions \(C(0,\lambda)=S'(0,\lambda)=I\), \(C'(0,\lambda)=S(0,\lambda)=0,\) and \(I\) is the identity matrix.
