The authors use ideal convergence (\(\mathcal I\)-convergence), where \(\mathcal I\) is a \(D\)-admissible proper ideal on a directed set \(D\), to define \(\mathcal I\)-convergence classes. Several results in this context are obtained. In the main result of the paper (Theorem 4.3) it is shown how \(\mathcal I\)-convergence classes on a set \(X\) generate a closure operator \textsf{Cl} on \(X\) related to the ideal convergence of nets with respect to the topology induced by \textsf{Cl}.
