The authors are dealing with the Helmholtz equation of mathematical physics, \((\Delta+\lambda) u=0\), they give the factorization of it by inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann operators and the related fundamental solutions. This gives Pompeiu integral operators and also the Pompeiu- Cauchy formula. The parameter \(\lambda\) may always be a complex quaternion, all functions are defined in a domain in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) with values in the complex quaternions. The properties of the Pompeiu operator are proved and at last boundary value properties of the hyperholomorphic functions, the solutions of the factors of the Helmholtz equation, are given. An interesting article.
