Linear functional equations of the first, second, and third kind with operators in wide classes of linear continuous operators in \(L_2\) containing integral operators are studied. Methods for reducing these equations by linear invertible changes to linear integral equations of the first kind with nuclear (i.e. representable as a product of two Hilbert-Schmidt operators) operators or to equivalent linear integral equations of the second kind with quasi-degenerate Carleman kernels are suggested. One of the footnotes is as follows: ``... linear invertible changes reducing the integral equations of the first, second, and third kind considered in the article to equivalent integral equations of the first kind with \(C_1\)-kernels or to equivalent integral equations of the second kind with quasi-degenerate Carleman kernels are constructed explicitly, and the resulting kernels also have explicit form.''
