The author defines a non-commutative analog of the Lagrange interpolating polynomial. Using this notion together with non-commutative version of Cayley-Hamilton's theorem and an identity given by a Vandermonde-like quasideterminants he develops a non-commutative version of the spectral decomposition theorem. These results are illustrated by several interesting examples, including quaternionic matrices and matrices with entries being harmonic oscillators.
