Consider a 2-player differential game, where payoff functions are additively separable with respect to controls and states. Then the paper gives a sufficient condition for open-loop Nash equilibrium and feedback Stackelberg equilibrium to coincide. An application to a version of the marketing model of \textit{G. Leitmann} and \textit{W. E. Schmitendorf} [IEEE Trans. Autom. Control 23, 645--650 (1978; Zbl 0383.90019)] is given.
