Two dimensional surfaces are constructed by polynomial splines using B-splines and satisfying interpolation conditions. The interpolation conditions are prescribed along four boundary derivative curves (including boundary conditions of 0th, first and second order). The control points of the resulting surface are not directly computed but follow from a knot-insertion strategy.
