The authors start from the fractal interpolation treated by \textit{M. Barnsley} [Fractals everywhere. Revised with the assistance of Hawley Rising III. Answer key by Hawley Rising III. 2nd ed. Boston, MA: Academic Press Professional (1993; Zbl 0784.58002)]. They prove for the very known Sierpiński gasket an analogue for the Barnsley's fractal interpolation theorem. The main result is Theorem 2 where the authors show the existence of the unique fractal interpolation function. Then some examples of fractal interpolation for the Sierpiński gasket are presented.
