Thanks to the use of bubble functions, two \(C^0\)-nonconforming triangular prism elements for a fourth-order elliptic problem in three dimensions are constructed. By the abstract convergence theorem of \textit{H. Chen} et al. [Numer. Math. 124, No. 1, 99--119 (2013; Zbl 1276.65078)], one element is proved to be of first order convergent and the other one is proved to be of second order convergent.
