The authors are mainly interested in the weak solution of linear differential equations defined by dual operators. They focus on the birth-and-death evolution in the continuum. They first discuss the general concept of statistical dynamics for Markov processes in the continuum and consider then applications to a family of Markov chains and to Glauber dynamics. Various illustrative examples are provided. This paper could be considered as related to modelling systems.
