A partially ordered topological space \((X,\tau,\leq)\) is called locally convex provided that each point of the set \(X\) has a \(\tau\)-neighborhood base of \(\leq\)-convex sets. The author studies the lattice-theoretic properties of these topologies on \((X,\leq).\) He determines all locally convex homogeneous topologies on a conditionally complete totally ordered set \((X,\leq)\) and decides which of these have a locally convex complement. For the finite respectively infinite case he also obtains some results on the number of locally convex complements of locally convex topologies. For instance he shows that on a finite totally ordered set each locally convex topology has at least one locally convex complement.
