The author considers elliptic equation with Neumann boundary conditions: \[ -\Delta u+\alpha u=f(u), \quad x\in\Omega, \qquad \frac{\partial u}{\partial\nu}=0, \quad x\in\partial\Omega, \tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^n\) be a bounded domain with smooth boundary. The author is mainly interested in the infinitely many nonconstant solutions and their locations. Under some natural assumptions on \(f\), the author obtains new results on the exactly infinitely many positive and negative solutions, which are all nonconstant. To this end, the author uses variational structure of (1) and applies Mountain Pass Theorem in order intervals, and Leray-Schauder arguments.
