The author investigates a collocation method for numerical solution of the Fredholm second-kind integral equations for a class and an application to the Lippmann-Schwinger equation to be defined on a Banach space \(L^\infty\) by using linear algebraic systems based on the author's results [Wave scattering by many small particles embedded in a medium. Phys. Lett. A, Vol. 372, No.~17, 3064--3070 (2008)].
