The authors study and classify the so-called Klein-Schottky groups topologically. A Klein-Schottky group is a freely acting extended Kleinian group whose orientation-preserving subgroup is a Schottky group. Deformation spaces for such groups are treated in the paper. Extended Klein-Schottky spaces are defined as the locus of those Schottky groups that can be extended to a Klein-Schottky group of given type and genus. There are \((g+3)/2\) of them inside the space of Schottky groups of genus \(g\). The authors study the intersection pattern of these \((g+3)/2\) spaces inside the Schottky space of genus \(g\).
