In this paper, the author considers the delay differential equation of the form \[ u^{\prime}(t) = \sum_{k=1}^mB_k(t)u(t-h_k(t))) + \int_0^1B(t,\tau)u(t-h_0(\tau))d\tau,\quad t \geq 0,\] where \(h_k(t), (t \geq 0, k=1\cdots m), h_0(\tau)\) are continuous nonnegative bounded functions and \(B_k(t),k=1\cdots m, B(t,\tau) (t\geq 0; 0\leq \tau\leq 1)\) are bounded variable operators in a Banach space. The author establishes an explicit delay-dependant exponential stability conditions for this equation. Further applications to integrodifferential equations with delay are discussed.
