    Free-surface potential flow problems are reformulated into Fredholm integral equations in two ways and a hybrid finite-boundary element method has been developed for solving them. Cubic B-splines and the fourth-order Runge-Kutta integrator are found suitable for space and time discretizations respectively. Numerical results obtained for the test problem are compared with the asymptotic solutions and many useful observations are made.
