The author studies the iterative \(\mathfrak I\) transformation [this is of similar generality as the \(E\)-algorithm of \textit{C. Brezinski}, Numer. Math. 35, 175-187 (1980; Zbl 0444.65001) and \textit{T. Håvie}, BIT 19, 204-213 (1979; Zbl 0404.65001)] and gives an explicit determinantal representation of this transformation. Also, \textit{K. J. Overholt's} process [BIT 5, 122-132 (1965; Zbl 0171.355)] is shown to be a special case of this transformation and its representation is given. Some numerical examples are discussed.
