Continuing an earlier work by \textit{P. Bowcock} and the author in an algebraic way, an outline is given of how to extend the work of \textit{B. L. Fuchs} and \textit{D. B. Feigin} [J. Geom. Phys. 5, 209-235 (1988; Zbl 0692.17008)] concerning fusion rules of Virasoro minimal models and algebraic definition of a minimal model in terms of quasi-finite representations. It is suggested how this extends to \(W\)-algebras, especially the \(W_3\) or \(WA_2\) algebra [cf. \textit{A. B. Zamolodchikov}, Teor. Mat. Fiz. 65, 347-359 (1985)]. Some explicit calculations for a \(WA_2\) minimal model are given.
