A Riemannian manifold \((M^n, g)\), \(n > 2\), is called ``weakly cyclic \(Z\) symmetric'' manifold if its non-zero Ricci tensor \(S\) satisfies \[ (\nabla_X S)(U, V) = A(X) S(U, V) + B(U)S(V, X) - D(V) S(X, U), \] where \(A\), \(B\), and \(D\) are \(1\)-forms, \(\nabla\) is the Levi-Civita connection on \(M\) and there exists a non-zero symmetric \((0,2)\)-tensor \(Z = S + \phi g\), where \(\phi\) is a function such that \(Z\) satisfies a cyclic identity. In this paper, the authors obtain a sufficient condition for \(M\) to be a quasi-Einstein manifold. They also study decomposable manifolds of the form \(M = M_1 \times M_2\) with \(M_1\) and \(M_2\) satisfying some condition.
