Based on quotations from the authors' abstract: In this paper, by ``using the random dyadic lattices developed by \textit{T. Hytönen} and \textit{A. Kairema}'' [Colloq. Math. 126, No. 1, 1--33 (2012; Zbl 1244.42010)], the authors set up ``a bridge between BMO and dyadic BMO, and hence one between VMO and dyadic VMO, via expectations over dyadic lattices on spaces of homogeneous type'' in the sense of \textit{R. R. Coifman} and \textit{G. Weiss} [Analyse harmonique non-commutative sur certains espaces homogènes. Etude de certaines intégrales singulières. Lecture Notes in Mathematics. 242. Berlin-Heidelberg-New York: Springer-Verlag. (1971; Zbl 0224.43006)], ``including both the one-parameter and product cases.'' Moreover, the authors also establish ``a similar relationship between [the weights classes] \(A_p\) and dyadic \(A_p\), as well as one between the reverse Hölder class \(RH_p\) and dyadic \(RH_p\), via geometric-arithmetic expectations. These results extend the earlier theory along this line, developed by'' \textit{J. B. Garnett} and \textit{P. W. Jones} [Pac. J. Math. 99, 351--371 (1982; Zbl 0516.46021)], \textit{J. Pipher} and \textit{L. A. Ward} [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 77, No. 2, 524--544 (2008; Zbl 1143.42025)], \textit{J. Pipher} et al. [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 27, No. 3, 953--976 (2011; Zbl 1231.42022)] and \textit{S. Treil} [in: Linear and complex analysis. Dedicated to V. P. Havin on the occasion of his 75th birthday. Alexandrov, Alexei (ed.) et al., Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS). Translations. Series 2. American Mathematical Society 226; Advances in the Mathematical Sciences 63, 179--193 (2009; Zbl 1181.42021)], ``to the more general setting of spaces of homogeneous type.''
