Relations between singularities and Coxeter groups is a classical area of singularity theory going back to the works by Arnold and Brieskorn. Recently was observed by \textit{V. V. Goryunov} [Russ. Math. Surv. 54, No.~5, 873--893 (1999; Zbl 0971.32010)] and \textit{V. V. Goryunov} and \textit{C. E. Baines} [St. Petersburg Math. J. 11, No. 5, 761--774 (2000); translation from Algebra Anal. 11, No. 5, 74-91 (2000; Zbl 1002.58018)] that these relations can be extended to include symmetric simple function singularities on the one hand, and certain Shephard-Todd groups on the other. The present article makes a further step by relating symmetries of the function singularities \(X_9\) to Popov's complex crystallographic groups. The appearance of complex affine reflection groups in equivariant monodromy of singularities with symmetry is one of the novelties of the article.
