The paper deals with existence and continuous dependence upon initial data of solutions of quasilinear systems of first-order partial functional differential equations. The approach of the authors is based on transformation of the original Cauchy problem into a system of functional integral equations. Using the method of integral inequalities and the method of bicharacteristics it is proved the existence of solutions of this auxiliary system.
