The author generalizes the Bézoutian of \textit{B. D. O. Anderson} and \textit{E. I. Jury} [IEEE Trans. Automatic Control AC-21, 551-556 (1976; Zbl 0332.93032)] to a Bézoutian for quadruples F,G,U,D of polynomial matrices such that \(F^{-1}G-UD^{-1}\) is a polynomial matrix, namely whose entries are the coefficients in \(F(z)\frac{W(y)-W(z)}{z-y}D(y)\) where W is the proper fraction part of \(F^{-1}G\). He describes its right kernel.
