The author studies the properties of concentration at a radius for functions in the classical Hardy space on the unit disc. The work done here is related to the concentration theory as discussed by \textit{B. Beauzamy} [Ill. J. Math. 39, No.~2, 196--203 (1995; Zbl 0822.30004)]. The author first proves a theorem that gives a lower bound for the Mahler measure of a function of the Hardy class with a given concentration at a radius. He applies his theorem to study the distribution of zeroes of such functions in the unit disc. He also examines the sharpness of concentration estimates for the Blaschke factors.
