Inverse or semi-inverse solutions in an incompressible second grade fluid are discussed. The results of calculation, for the velocity distribution and streamlines reveal that in some cases results are similar to those obtained in the theory of Newtonian fluids while in some other cases they are different. The pressure distribution, in almost all cases, appears to be different to that obtained in viscous fluids.
