    The paper deals with the large deviations for reversible reaction-diffusion processes. One may refer to the book [``From Markov chains to non-equilibrium particle systems'' (1992; Zbl 0753.60055)] by the reviewer for a description of the model and also for the present status of the study and related references. It is known that the process under consideration is ergodic. The author further proves that the standard large deviation principle (for the imperial distributions) holds for the model. The main method used in the paper is the martingale approach. Some nice estimates are presented. A key in the work is the construction of a particular function bounded below with compact level sets.
