Let \(L^ \dag(D)\) be a maximal \(Op^*\)-algebra on a Fréchet domain \(D\) containing a sequence of strongly commuting essentially self-adjoint operators which is cofinal in the set of all Hermitian elements of \(L^ \dag(D)\) and let \({\mathcal L}[\tau_ D]\) be the completion of \(L^ \dag(D)[\tau_ D]\), where \(\tau_ D\) is the uniform topology. The author has investigated in detail positive and bounded linear functionals on \({\mathcal L}[\tau_ D]\) and obtained that each bounded linear functional \(\theta\) on \({\mathcal L}[\tau_ D]\) is decomposed into \(\theta=\theta_ 1+\theta_ 2\), where \(\theta_ 1\) vanishes on the dense subspace \({\mathcal C}\) of the ``very continuous'' operators and \(\theta_ 2\) is continuous.
