The author considers G/G/1/N queueing systems with state dependent service requirements. For a certain class of such queues he obtains relations between time and customer average queue length distributions. This class includes queues with LCFS-preemptive resume service discipline and finite or infinite waiting room. Furthermore he derives in the case of loss systems with LCFS-preemptive resume service relations between time stationary and customer stationary distributions of the remaining service times. The essential tools are the equilibrium equations of \textit{M. Miyazawa} [J. Appl. Probab. 23, 443-458 (1986; Zbl 0599.60084)].
