Bifurcation and related properties of the logistic discrete-time system \[ x(n+1)=ax(n)[1-2y(n)]+y(n),\quad y(n+1)=y(n)[b-cy(n)] \] are investigated. In some situations explicit analytic results are given and compared with numerical investigations.
