It is known that the complex Monge-Ampère operator \((dd^{c}) ^{n}\) is not continuous on the set of plurisubharmonic functions and solutions of the complex Monge-Ampère equation \((dd^{c}u) ^{n}=d\mu\) fail to be stable. The authors prove that on certain subsets of the set of plurisubharmonic functions continuity and stability holds. Several versions of stability results are presented. First, stability results are proved for the family of \(L_{\infty}\)-plurisubharmonic functions on a pseudoconvex domain with continuous boundary data and then stability results are extended to hyperconvex domains--domains \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb{C}^{n}\) admitting a non-zero \(u\in \text{PSH}(\Omega) \cap C(\overline{\Omega}) \) vanishing on \(\partial\Omega\). Finally stability theorem is established for a larger class \(\mathcal{F}^{a}(\varphi) \). The following classes of plurisubharmonic functions are considered. The set \(\mathcal{E}_{0}\) consists of all functions \(u\in \text{PSH}(\Omega) \cap L_{\infty }(\Omega) \) satisfying \(\lim_{z\to\xi}u(z) =0\), for every \(\xi\in\partial\Omega\) and \(\int_{\Omega}(dd^{c} u) ^{n}<\infty\); the family \(\mathcal{F}\) is defined as the set of all \(u\in \text{PSH}(\Omega) \) that can be approximated in \(\Omega\) by a non-increasing sequence of functions \(\{ v_{j}\} _{j=1,2,\dots } \subset\mathcal{E}_{0}\) satisfying \(\sup_{j}\int_{\Omega}(dd^{c} v_{j}) <\infty\); \(\mathcal{F}_{1}\) consists of all \(u\in\mathcal{F}\) such that, in addition to the conditions describing \(\mathcal{F}\), the inequality \(\sup_{j}\int_{\Omega}[ -v_{j}(dd^{c}v_{j}) ^{n}] <\infty\) holds. If \(\varphi\in C(\partial\Omega) \), then the family \(\mathcal{F}(\varphi) \) consists of all \(u\in \text{PSH}(\Omega) \) satisfying \(h\geq u\geq h+v\) for some \(v\in\mathcal{F}\) and \(h:=\sup\{ w\in \text{PSH}(\Omega) \cap L_{\infty}(\Omega) \text{ }|\)
