Denote by Diff\(_+^{1+vb}([0,1))\) the C\(^1\) diffeomorphisms having bounded variation of the logarithm of the derivative on compacta. A condition is found which ensures that an amenable, sub-exponential subgroup is resolvable with given order. It is also shown that if \(\Gamma\) is a resolvable subgroup of order \(k\) of Diff\(_+^{1+vb}([0,1))\) without fixed points in the interior then the normaliser of \(\Gamma\) is also resolvable of order \(k\) when \(k>1\) and when \(k=1\) the normaliser is conjugate to a subgroup of translations or of affine transformations depending on whether \(\Gamma\) is or is not infinite cyclic.
