Let \(f(x)=\sum_{i=0}^n a_ix^i\) be a polynomial with positive coefficients, and for \(p>0\) consider its \( p\)th Hadamard power \(f^{[p]}(x)=\sum_{i=0}^n a_i^p x^i\). The authors investigate whether \(f^{[p]}\) has only real zeros whenever \( f \) does. It is proved that this holds for degree \(n=3\) and \(p>1\). For \(n=4\) a counterexample is given as \(f(x)=(x+10)(x+11)(x+12)(x+13)\) and \(p=1.139\). For general \(n\) an explicit real bound \(P_n>1\) is given such that for all \(p>P_n\) the Hadamard power \(f^{[p]} \) has only real zeros for all \(p>P_n\).
